Dungeon Defenders, the RPG/Tower Defence hybrid developed by Trendy Entertainment will shortly recieve the first part of the new Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC. The new content will see the Dungeon Defenders leave their dungeon and go exploring the wide world of Etheria.
The DLC pack will contain a new campaign map, a new PvP map, a new challenge map, new story cinematics, a new pet, a new boss and several new weapons. The DLC will be avaliable on Steam, XBox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Owners of the console versions will have to wait until the next content patch in January to use the new weapons and unlock the new pet.
PC RPGamers can also buy a complete collection of the four Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC packs on Steam, which will unlock their content as they are released, and gives early access to Nightmare Mode, a much harder difficulty setting. Part One of the Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards will be released on December 21, 2011.
