Atari has announced that it will be bringing the German RPG Venetica to North America. The game, which was developed by Deck 13 and published by Rombax Games, will be released for the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, and Windows computers in January 2011. The game's official website can be found here.

Venetica is set in a fantastic version of 16th century Venice, where monsters and evil magic lurk in every corner of the famous city. The player must take control of Scarlett, a young heroine, as she must master control over the powers of death itself in order to fight against the evil necromancers who plot Venice's downfall.
