Square Enix recently confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS would be coming to North America, though it did not give a release window for the game. This has turned out to be a smart move, since Square Enix told attendees of Jump Festa 2009, which began on December 20, that the game's release in Japan has been delayed.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was scheduled for its Japanese release in February 2009, but is now expected in Spring 2009 instead. There is still no word on a release window for the game in North America, though it is safe to say that this may delay the game's localization. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days takes place between Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (which was just remade for the PlayStation 2 as Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories) and Kingdom Hearts II. The game revolves around Roxas and his experiences within Organization XIII. Jump Festa 2009 is still ongoing, so expect more news from the convention soon.
