Level 5, the developers behind Dragon Quest VIII and Rogue Galaxy, has shed a little light on who title character Jeanne d'Arc will be going up against. First and foremost is King Henry VI, a child only six years old. Though he is only a child, he is still able to send hordes of monsters to attack France. He is aided by Regent Duke Bedford, a man that also supports the invasion.
Luckily Jeanne will not be forced to battle alone. Another friend, an elven archer named Beatrice, will be lending her a hand as well.
Also revealed is that once players clear a battle map, they will be able to return to it at a later time. This will be useful for such things as leveling and stockpiling supplies.
Jeanne d'Arc will be hitting Japanese shelves on November 22 for the standard portable price of 5040 ($41.72 US). Presently, there are no announcements of a North American release.
