The latest incarnation of two of Square Enix's most famed RPGs have shipped to retailers all across North America. Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for the Game Boy Advance contains tweaked versions of both Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II, and both include bonus dungeons not found in the originals.
Since their initial releases on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the late 1980s, Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II have seen numerous ports and remakes. In 2001, the games were ported to the Japanese Wonderswan Color handheld for a whole new generation of Japanese gamers to experience. The games were then remade with enhanced graphics, newly arranged soundtracks, and FMV sequences for the PlayStation in Japan in 2002 and in North America in 2003.
Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls is rated E for Everyone and is now available at an MSRP of $34.99. For more information regarding this title, see RPGamer's Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls preview.
