Capcom, having recently announced Onimusha Tactics, has now seen fit to dole out some information on the Game Boy Advance title. OT will be set in the world of Onimusha 2, and will feature all the characters from that game. Each stage will feature the Genma Stones of the PlayStation 2 action title, which in this game can be used to create items tailored to defeating specific monsters. The main character will be Juubei Yagyuu, whose sword will increase in level after absorbing the spirits of defeated enemies.
Capcom's foray into the T-RPG market will begin on November 1, when Onimusha Tactics is set to release in Japan. Currently, it is set to sell for 5800 yen, approximately $47.00 US. There is no word on whether the game will make it to North America; the fact that both Onimusha titles have is no guarantee of anything, given the wildly different nature of this game from the PlayStation 2 installments.
