UK gamers with an itch for a first-person MMORPG can finally get some relief. CDV Software announced today that Reakktor Media's Neocron will hit stores across the island on the 18th of October. PC gamers that accept the challenge will join their German counterparts who have had been living in the game's 28th century, post-apocalyptic metropolis since its debut earlier this month.
"With broadband now delivering high-speed Internet access to over 1,000,000 homes in the UK, it's time for massively multiplayer gaming to truly come of age - and Neocron is the perfect title to kick-start this revolution," said CDV's president, Terry Malham. "It is a game unlike any other, and we can't wait to see how UK games-players react to its arrival."
Neocron will retail for £29.99. North American gamers don't have to get too jealous, though. The game is set to hit this side of the Atlantic at the end of November.
