Square has revealed two new races that will be utilized in Final Fantasy XI. These races include the Galka, strong, muscular men who do not pass their physical traits on to their offspring, which results in a wide variety of genetic traits; and the Mithra, extremely agile people who are comprised mostly of females, thus requiring males to remain in their homes in the Windurst region.
Three other races were also recently revealed before this announcement; you can learn more about them here. Final Fantasy XI is currently being beta tested by thousands of lucky Japanese gamers, and the final game should be ready for release in Japan in spring 2002. RPGamer will continue to bring you the latest on this budding online adventure.
