The Autumn 2001 Tokyo Game Show is now just hours away, and the floor of the Makuhari Messe is already starting to buzz. By now, most of the big RPG players have announced their wares, with one notable exception: Atlus. The company has finally revealed what it has on its platter for this weekend, and RPG fans should be quite pleased.
Though there are no surprises in store for us, several titles that were announced previously are confirmed to make an appearance. The games on show will include Busin: Wizardry Alternative and Growlanser III, both for the PS2, and Shin Megami Tensei II, a PlayStation remake of a title in the franchise best known to North Americans through the Persona games. Of these, only Busin: Wizardry Alternative has been confirmed for a North American release (it'll be known as Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land in North America).
Stay tuned to RPGamer as we bring you all the news fresh from what is sure to be a huge TGS for RPGs.
