In a new interview at 3D Game Force, Wolfpack Studios President Josef Hall and Vice President Patrick Blanton discuss Shadowbane, Wolfpack's upcoming massively-multiplayer online RPG for Windows and Macintosh. The interview sheds some light on the game's storyline and development process, as well as some of the features of the game.

3D Game Force: Are there any concerns that Shadowbane will be too much like other online MMORPGs, or will it be something that will be really outstanding?
Blanton: Shadowbane is going to be a completely new and unique experience. Weâre really pushing the envelope when it comes to strategy, political intrigue, and combat. Itâs really hard to just define what weâre building as just ãa game.ä In many ways itâs almost more like a simulated feudal society.
3D Game Force: Often "open space" is a concern in other MMORPGs. How many users will be able to play simultaneously?
Hall: Weâre planning on being able to handle tens of thousands of players connected simultaneously in the Universe after release. This should allow us to support a subscription base of a few hundred thousand players pretty easily.
