Special Version of Final Fantasy IX Soundtrack to see US Release
Final Fantasy IX

The soundtracks of the Final Fantasy RPG series have seen nearly universal praise from RPGamers and reviewers alike. However, releases of these soundtracks on this side of the Pacific have been rather sparse... until now. TOKYOPOP Soundtrax, a new division of TOKYOPOP dedicated to domestic releases of video game soundtracks, has just announced a domestic release of a special version of the highly-acclaimed Final Fantasy IX soundtrack.

Titled Final Fantasy IX: Uematsu's Best Selection, this single CD contains 33 tracks, composed and compiled by Final Fantasy IX composer Nobuo Uematsu. This disc will also contain a bonus track, unavailable anywhere else. The CD should arrive on November 13, 2000 for an estimated retail price of $16.98. TOKYOPOP Soundtrax is going to be involved with EB and Babbages to sell the disc.

TOKYOPOP Soundtrax has also released the soundtrack to Parasite Eve II and has plans for the release of the Tekken Tag Tournament soundtrack.
