Indie publisher Double Eleven and developer Wizard Fu have announced that Songbringer will be released for PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox One on September 1, 2017, with a PlayStation 4 release following shortly afterwards on September 5, 2017. The announcement comes with a new gameplay trailer, viewable below.
Songbringer is a procedurally-generated action RPG set in the Milky Way Galaxy in 13,000 BC. The game follows Roq, a carefree character searching the galaxy for the ultimate party. Songbringer's overworld is generated by a six-letter world seed code at the start of the game, with ten dungeons placed within it. Local multiplayer is available, with the second player controlling Roq's sidekick Jib. Those interested in reading more can check out Pascal Tekaia's impression of the game from this year's E3.
