Aksys Games had plenty of announcements at last weekend's Anime Expo in Los Angeles. The announcements feature localisations of two RPGs, plus a collector's edition for another game coming later this month.
One of the two RPGs announced was Tokyo Xanadu, the action RPG developed by Nihon Falcom. The PlayStation Vita game will be released physically and digitally in North America sometime in 2017, along with a new PC port that will be released through Steam. The recently announced PlayStation 4 enhanced version, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, is not planned for localisation at this time.
Aksys did, however, announce the localisation of a different enhanced release. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is a enhanced version of the original game that was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita last year featuring a refined battle system. The game will be released in North America physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and digitally for PlayStation Vita and PC (through Steam). A release date has not been announced.
Finally, the publisher revealed a collector's edition for Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. The Eternal Wanderer Edition is available to pre-order exclusively through Aksys' web store. The edition costs $59.99 and contains a hardcover art book, a bracelet, a display box, and soundtrack CD. The game was originally released in Japan as Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus, and is due out in North America for PlayStation Vita on July 26, 2016.
