Square Enix provided some more conrete details regarding the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year. The game will be released in North America on March 17, 2015, with the Japanese and European releases occurring on March 19, 2015 and March 20, 2015 respectively. The company also announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will include a code for a demo version of Final Fantasy XV, titled -EPISODE DUSCAE-, that will feature sections taken from the opening portion of the game.
In other Final Fantasy XV news, the company released a new trailer for the title showing some of the main cast travelling in a car and battling against some foes. It was also revealed that director Tetsuya Nomura is stepping away from the game to work on other titles. His role is being taken up by Hajime Tabata, who worked as director for Type-0. It was also announced that Final Fantasy Agito+, a port of the free-to-play mobile game that serves as a prequel and companion title to Type-0, would be released in Japan on PlayStation Vita. The title has been mentioned for a Western released, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
