It is rare for good things to come so quickly on the heels of bad news, but that is exactly how the latest turn in the drama surrounding 38 Studios and Big Huge Games has played out. Epic Studios has reorganized much of the staff it hired in the wake of that studio collapse into a new subsidiary called Impossible Studios, located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This new studio is already hard at work on Infinity Blade: Dungeons, the latest entry in Epic's iOS RPG franchise.
Even though it was originally announced back in March, not too much has been revealed about the upcoming game, though the few screenshots and trailer provided so far indicate that it will be very different from the previous iterations of the series. More details on the game will be discussed at a panel being held at Atlanta's Dragon*Con on August 31. Epic plans to release Infinity Blade: Dungeons later this year.
