Electronic Arts has recently announced single-player downloadable content for Mass Effect 3. Titled "Leviathan", the story focuses on Shepard saving a scientist from a mining facility that was taken over by a Reaper defector. According to EA, players will explore uncharted system, interact with new characters, and learn more about the history of the Reapers. This DLC will be made available sometime later this summer for $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. In addition, there will be another DLC piece, the "Firefight Pack," featuring "two powerful weapons and five bonus weapons" available on August 7 for $2 or 160 Points.
In other Mass Effect 3 news, BioWare will give players of the upcoming WiiU version a chance to experience the first two games in an abbreviated form. Much like the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2, the WiiU version will have an interactive comic for prior games. It will allow players to make key decisions that will carry over into Mass Effect 3. The WiiU version will be released during the console's launch window this holiday season.
