Fans of Little King's Story received a pleasant surprise in this week's Famitsu. The critically acclaimed but low-selling Wii game was thought to have little chance of a sequel, especially considering Marvelous Entertainment's financial troubles. Yesterday, Famitsu reported that Konami has picked the series up, and there will be a Little King's Story game on the PlayStation Vita.
The Little King Corobo and Princess Apricot are confirmed to be main characters in the new game. It will have full touch control on the Vita, and will also be sporting a new graphic style with more realistic proportions. Hopefully the game won't entirely abandon its storybook aesthetic, which was a large part of the original game's charm. There will likely be more information about this new Little King's Story game at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, where the game will be playable.
