Nintendo has confirmed a release date for the newest game in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky will have more than 490 Pokémon with nineteen playable characters. Players will have the option to trade items, receive special missions and will be able to rescue other players for items using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Players that trade between Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness to Explorers of Sky will receive a surprise that has not been revealed as of yet. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is scheduled for an October 12th, 2009 release for the Nintendo DS.
