Funcom has announced that upcoming MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures for the PC, has been pushed back to March 2008. Oddly, Funcom made no mention of the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Age of Conan was slated for release later this year, but according to Funcom the development team needed more time to polish the title. Funcom is very confident that this delay will only bring positive changes to the game and everyone involved with the product.
"We naturally regret that we have to push back Age of Conan. However, after careful consideration, and analysis of recent Beta feedback, we believe that the new release date is in the best interest of the gamers, our company and our owners," said Trond Arne Aas, CEO of Funcom.
Conan will now be released March 25, 2008 for the PC. It looks like everyone will just have to wait a couple months longer before the beheading can commence.
