Capcom has announced that Mega Man Battle Network 6 is in development for the Game Boy Advance and due for Japanese release by the end of this year. The company has declared it the climax of the series, perhaps intending that it will be the last Mega Man Battle Network game.
Much like the third through fifth installments, Mega Man Battle Network 6 will be released in two different versions. Each will contain the same story, but feature different powers and opponents. The story stars series protagonist Lan, whose family moves to an area called Cyber City to be near his father's new workplace.
North American and European release dates have not yet been announced. Stay tuned to RPGamer for additional information about the game as details are revealed.
