The PlayStation Vita didn't get a lot of play at E3's big news conferences, but one little RPG did happen to appear. Destiny of Spirits is a free-to-play tactical RPG in which miniature-style Spirits battle against an evil that is trying to take control over the globe.
Players can obtain new Spirits using the Vita's location-based technology, which allows them to find spirits wherever they go. There will be unique Spirits only available in certain geographic regions, encouraging players to trade spirits with each other as well.
Every day, each player will receive a unique fortune that alters the way the game plays, such as increasing or reducing the power of certain elements. Destiny of Spirits will release on the PlayStation Network later this year.
