At last night's Sony E3 press conference, one of the marquee titles for the upcoming PS Vita handheld was Ruin, an action RPG with an emphasis on social network integration (note that the title may change, as it's currently listed as a "working title.") Ruin appears to take a Diablo-style dungeon crawler and infuse it with a combat system that involves executing well-timed combination attacks rather than spamming attacks and spells. The game can be transferred to the PS3 for a big-screen session which will be 3D and Move-compatible, and there will be web-based elements to it as well.
Multiplayer gaming is a major function in Ruin, and friends will be able to play co-operatively or competitively as they search for rare treasures and rewards. Players can also create personalized lairs and use them to challenge friends, as well as spam their friends' social networking accounts with their Ruin achievements. Ruin is being published by Sony and does not yet have an announced release date.
