Square Enix has announced Heroes of Ruin, a dungeon crawler for the 3DS that is being developed by n-Space. The game will feature a party of four heroes and will have a large number of multiplayer features. It releases in North America in early 2012.

Players will be able to experience Heroes of Ruin in single-player mode or via fully online, drop-in co-op. Using Nintendo's Wi-Fi SpotPass mode, players can also trade items and receive unique treasures and challenges. The Heroes of Ruin website will also offer daily quests and provide a social network for players.
