Dungeon Siege III, which was originally set to be released May 29th of this year, has been pushed to June 21 2011. In the press release, Mike Fischer, president and CEO of Square Enix, Inc. explains that the delay is due to the final polish stage taking more time than initially planned. He also states that "the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action-RPG worthy of its rich heritage.”
Dungeon Siege III is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Square Enix. It will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 for the retail price of $59.99 and on Windows for $49.99.
