In the latest issue of Famitsu, SEGA unveiled the development of World Destruction for the Nintendo DS. The newest entry into the handheld's library is touted as a traditional turn-based RPG.
The development of the title is being carried out by Image Epoch with the help of SEGA. The duo is incorporating the talent of a few of the more well-known members of the Xenogears/Xenosaga development team: Yasunori Mitsuda, Masato Kato, and Kunihiko Tanaka. Mitsuda will be responsible for the music, Kato will be taking care of the scenario writing, and Tanaka will be handling the character design.
There is no currently announced date for World Destruction, but its schedule release window is summer of this year. Those interested should watch the Japandamonium column for further translated information regarding Famitsu's coverage of World Destruction.
