Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light for the PSP will be released in Europe. Ignition Entertainment, which has brought other RPGs to Europe such as PoPoLoCrois, will be handling the localization of Blade Dancer.
The game takes place in a fantasy world known as Lunadia, where great battles have been fought between the Guardian of Light – Blade Dancer Gerald – and the Evil Demon Lord. The main character's name is Lance, an adventurous young guy who arrives on the Island of Foo, where the Evil Demon Lord is supposedly sealed.
Enemies will be visible on the full 3D world-map, and if encountered, the player will be transferred to a battle scene, with a real-time battle system.
Additionally, the game will include a day-night cycle, and item synthesizing system, with over 600 items. Finally, players will be able to use the networking feature on the PSP to play Blade Dancer with three of their friends.
The game is already out in Japan and will arrive on North American shores soon. Europeans, unfortunately, will have to wait for the autumn to come around to play it.
