Laden with the unveiling of Grandia III at the end of March was the promise that a trailer of the game would be posted on the game's home on the web two weeks prior to E3. Square Enix has made good on its promise and has posted the trailer for the world to see, albeit only until May 8.
The trailer features a few computer-animated sequences, the protagonist Yuuki traversing the world, and Yuuki and his companions engaging in a few battles, all while the Grandia theme plays in the background. Those who want to view the trailer for themselves can do so by clicking here, and then clicking on "special" at the bottom of the page. After viewing the trailer, the curious can check out the "World of GIII" section which has also been updated with some new cinematic scenes.
While the prospect of a North American release has not been officially announced, it seems likely that the game will see light in North America at some time or another considering that all of its predecessors have been given the localization treatment. Japan will see the game on store shelves this summer.
