Sony has announced that it will start an official online auctioning service
for EverQuest II players titled Station Exchange.
Players will be able to auction off their in-game items, currency, and
characters through the service. Sony plans to launch the service near
the end of June.
Sony hopes to prevent scammers by handling the transactions on their
servers. Sellers won't be able to scam buyers in common ways, such
as changing the password to a character after it was sold. All auction items won will be directly transfered to the buyer's account. For
more details, visit the Station
Exchange website.
