A posting on the E3Expo website has revealed that Mistwalker founder Hironobu Sakaguchi will take part in the E3 conference program. On May 19, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, Sakaguchi will be discussing his future vision of game creation, where he looks for new ideas, what motivates him, and what he hopes to introduce into the next generation of gameplay.
Joining Mr. Sakaguchi in the conference will be Yoshihiro Maruyama, who worked alongside Sakaguchi at Square Enix. Maruyama, who now leads Microsoft's Xbox efforts in Japan, will discuss what Japanese consumers are looking for in interactive entertainment, how their tastes differ from gamers in North America, and what North American publishers need to do to tap into the Japanese market.
RPGamer will be out in full force at E3, so expect a report on this conference straight from the frontlines in May.
