Details concerning Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 have been few and far between since its announcement last month. Good things come to those who wait, as a few juicy bits of information concerning LucasArts' highly anticipated sequel have come to light.
The tentatively titled Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords is reported to take place 5 years after the events of its predecessor. The republic has been decimated, and the Jedi are no better off with their secret training facility on Dantooine in ruins.
Your character from KotOR and HK-47 will return for round two, though your old character from KotOR will not be playable. Also, the Ebon Hawk is said to be included in KotOR 2. Along with these returning staples, a bevy of new characters will be introduced, including a playable Jedi refugee.
KotOR 2 will use the same engine from KotOR with a few tweaks and improvements added in. One announced improvement will be the addition of at least one prestige Jedi class to go along with the normal classes from KotOR
Hopefully, more details will emerge at E3, just a scant few weeks away. As always, you can count on us to bring you the latest when it is released.
