Mythic Entertainment recently announced that it will be releasing Foundations, a new expansion for its PC MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot. This expansion will include a variety of features, with the focus being on housing and property.
Players will be able to buy land, build houses, and decorate them to their liking with various pieces of furniture, art, and even personal trophies. Guilds may purchase a house to share among their members, but individual ownership is permitted as well. Basements in the houses can be used for trade workshops or item storage. Entrepreneurs can even sell items literally right off the front porch. There is also an option to landscape lawns and gardens around the home for purely aesthetic reasons.
Foundations, first in the series of three expansions for Dark Age of Camelot this year, will be available in mid-June as a free download. The next free expansion will involve combat, while the third one will only be available at stores.
