Nintendo and From Join At Hip

Nintendo and From Software have announced an arrangement naming Nintendo as the publisher of all future From titles for the GameCube. Along with publishing duties, Nintendo will also assume the cost of marketing the games, which is sure to improve exposure for From.

The first title to benefit from this arrangement will be Rune II (Lost Kingdoms II in North America), sequel to the card-based battler that was the first RPG to appear on the GameCube. The sequel is slated for Japanese release on May 23, and is expected to retail for 6800 yen (roughly $57.00 US). A North American release is planned for this spring.
