Aksys Games revealed the western PlayStation Vita release date for Tokyo Xanadu. The game will be released for the handheld on June 30, 2017. The publisher also confirmed that the enhanced Tokyo Xanadau eX+ version of the game is set for release in Q4 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC. The PlayStation games will be available digitally and physically in standard and limited editions.
Tokyo Xanadu is developed by Nihon Falcom, developer of the Ys and The Legend of Heroes series. The game takes place in modern-day Japan after a huge earthquake devastates Tokyo. Ten years after the earthquake, its mysterious cause is revealed as the emergence of a mysterious shadow world called the Eclipse. Players control a party of characters from Moriyama City as they fight off the beings from the shadow world. The enhanced eX+ version offers new monsters, dungeons, story events, and a new playable character.
