Focus Home Interactive has a new trailer for Enigami's Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom. This most recent trailer introduces the game's world, its characters, and its unique combat system.
Shiness follows Chado, a young Waki who, along with his companions, become embroiled in a power struggle in a foreign land. Chado and company can enter battles that borrow equally from action RPGs and fighting games. Earning experience and leveling up will grant access to new moves and extended combos, all leading to a massive Hyper Moves that act as finishing blows. Outside of combat, each of the playable characters will have a unique trait that can be used to interact with the world to help solve puzzles or unlock secrets.
Planned for a release sometime in 2017, Shiness is currently available for pre-order on Steam for $25.49/£21.24/€25.49, discounted from the regular price of $29.99/£24.99/€29.99. The game will also release on additional PC stores as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
