While Yakuza 4 will keep considerably more of the original Japanese version’s content than Yakuza 3, the US version will still have some changes. One is the Answer x Answer arcade mini-game, which will be removed. The reason for this is that as the text is in images, it cannot be edited, so the mini-game had to be cut rather than localized. Also, the opening video will be changed. The original song “Butterfly City” couldn’t be kept due to licensing problems, and will instead be replaced with a remix of “For Faith.” All other songs will be intact.
Other than this mini-game and song change, all other content will be the same, including the hostess side-stories and ping pong mini-games. Yakuza 4 is due for a March 15 release in North America.
