While Pokémon Black and White's North American release is just on the horizon, it should come as no surprise that Nintendo has already begun to drop hints at a Pokémon title on the upcoming 3DS. In a recent interview, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata affirms that he has no doubts there will be a Pokémon game on the handheld. Iwata also states that while there will be 3D elements, two-dimensional components will still be involved.
Aside from the lack of a name, it is also unknown if this game will be a main series title or a spin-off. Pokémon Black and White are the first main series games to be on the same platform as the previous generation. Their few revealed 3DS capabilities, such as video chat, can also be performed on the DSi and DSi XL.
