Square Enix fans have something to celebrate in a few months. Famitsu has revealed that the company will be throwing a party and gaming event for its fans this May. The Square Enix Party 2007 takes place at Chiba's Makuhari Messe, just outside of Tokyo, on May 12 and 13, and admission is free at the event.
The last Square Enix Party was held back in July 2005, and proved to be quite the shindig. More than 45,000 people attended to see what Square Enix had to offer. At that time, fans were able to get a sneak-peak at new trailers for Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Of course, there were also a number of special guests and other showcases.
No information on this year's activities has been released yet, but chances are good that some big announcements will be made on Square Enix's future projects. Check back with RPGamer for more information on this event as it is released.
