In the latest issue of Famitsu it was announced that Square Enix is planning another entry into the Fullmetal Alchemist action RPG series. Hagane no Renkinjutsushi 3: Kami o Tsugu Shoujo, which is roughly translated to "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Girl that Succeeds God", will follow a different storyline than the manga.
Edward and Alphonse will find themselves traveling through a metropolis called Valdora, which is very famous for its legend concerning a witch. Hagane no Renkinjutsushi 3: Kami o Tsugu Shoujo is speculated to play in the same cel-shaded gamestyle as the previous two installments, but players will now be able to control both brothers on their quests, with the option to choose which character to play as at any time. A cooperative mode will also be featured, where two players can play alongside each other via a split-screen, or: each player playing as one of the brothers.
An approximate Japanese release date for Hagane no Renkinjutsushi 3: Kami o Tsugu Shoujo is unknown at this time. RPGamer will disclose any new findings as they become available.
