Site Launched, Beta Soon

In preparation for the first phase of open beta, Blizzard Entertainment has launched its community website for the upcoming MMORPG, World of Warcraft. After beta commences, the site will serve purpose for testers as a way for information to be given. In addition to that, the site is a place where general information can be found and accessed by non-beta testers.

Open beta is scheduled to begin soon, as emails will be sent to those selected from the pool of applicants. Blizzard has stated earlier that a typical beta is three months long, but they expect to surpass that mark and also to have multiple phases.
