As part of Blizzard's ongoing commitment to supporting Macintosh platforms, the company announced a patch today providing an add-on for the Mac versions of Diablo II, and its expansion, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. The patch, available for download at www.blizzard.com, will enable gamers using the new OSX (v10.1.2 and subsequent versions) to play the title, one of Blizzard's biggest sellers, in Carbonized form (which refers to programs native to the OSX operating system).
Diablo II remains one of the most popular PC RPGs available to date. With engaging online and single-player modes, both the game and its expansion are an addictive treat to any fan of the action-RPG genre. For further information, check RPGamer's coverage.
