Square is calling for Japanese gamers interested in making Final Fantasy XI their full-time job to reside over Vana'Diel. These employees will be called Game Masters and will help bring order to the game, should problems arise. GMs will make sure all players are using proper conduct and will rescue players from harassment, while dealing with the harassers appropriately. In order to be eligible for this position, one must have excellent customer relation skills and be able to remain calm and kind to all players.
The Game Master title is currently only available to Japanese gamers, but as the game nears release in North America, the job will likely become available to players on this side of pacific as well. Final Fantasy XI is scheduled to be released in Japan this April, with a local release to follow in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
