I've been checking out RPGamer now for some time, though I never really got much into the community, a fact that I blame completely on you, gentle reader. When a chance to land a Q&A position reared its ugly head, however, I was helpless to resist. I seriously enjoyed the writing antics of Thor and Brad Lohr (that's a rhyme. I, uh, think.). So, for those of you looking to see if I might be The One to fill the Q&A column, you can look at those two as my role models/heroes/target of cosplay. I strive for their slick sense of sarcasm and some other word that starts with an s, but means wit, so that my alliteration can be complete.
For RPGs, I'm a little old school. I adored the Dragon Quest series when us ignorant westerners called it Dragon Warrior, and I literally cannot remember a time in my life that I didn't have at least a computer to keep me gaming. NES love for life.
That's my old school cred, but I have to admit I'm not that old school. I loved Final Fantasy VII, thoroughly enjoyed Breath of Fire III, and thought Xenosaga had some serious style. Attempts to go old school in modern games usually attract nothing but scorn from me. You know who you are. Shame.
In the real world (when I am forced into it), I do technical support for school software. I go to college, seeking that elusive Bachelor's Degree, and am insane enough to ponder law school after that.
So, what are you waiting for? E-mail me some love.
