I woke up recently to the horrible realization that I do not own nearly
enough games. Given the information that my console of choice is the PS1,
and my current RPG library consists of FF7-9 and BoF3, which would you say
are the titles whose non-presence in my TV cabinet is most lamentable? That,
and what games should I get?

Eek. This is almost as imposing as the letter I got today asking for a complete list of (non-Action/)
RPGs on the PSX. Anyway, just off the top of my head, there's the Lunars, Wild ARMs, Valkyrie Profile,
Dragon Warrior 7... that should be enough to last you a few months right? Don't wanna go down the whole
list in one sitting, because then people would jump down my throat for leaving stuff out... which they
might do anyway.

Hey Googleshng,
I've searched all over the internet and I cannot find the answer.Before I go on in Final Fantasy IX I want to know if I absolutely HAVE to beat the jump rope mini-game to get some rare cards (Tiger Racket card in particular). The Jump Rope game is tough, and it would be of help to know if I could skip it or not. I've heard you can get rare cards in Treno, but I don't kow if they'll have the same rare cards that you win in other mini-games.

Yes, you have to play the utterly annoying jumprope game if you want the tiger racket card, but before
you drive yourself insane trying, ask yourself this. Do you REALLY want it? The only reason I can think
of to try and get that card is if you're trying for an absolutely completist game, but if you're doing
THAT, you shouldn't be spending any time on that stuff NOW, you should be rushing through the game for
that sword you can only get if you reach the last dungeon in under 12 hours.

Warcraft III comes out July 3rd. Woot. I have a few questions about it.

It seems that in my rampant obsession with waiting for
Xenosaga that I've tunnel-visioned myself into being
clueless about any console RPGs that are worth looking
at...
I know these question types are annoying but This is a
legitimate problem for me.
What recent RPGs are out there, availible, for PSX or
PS2, that I should look at?
BTW: I need a new PSX memory card.. what chance do you
think I have of getting one?

Let's see... "recent" is one of those really subjective words. By my definition, you haven't missed anything,
but if you consider Arc the Lad Collection recent, there's that. Oh, and I don't see why PSX memory cards
would be hard to find at this point. It hasn't even been a full year since something came out on it.
