Vazgen's Shop, morning


** Door opens, Trel Dubino enters **

Vazgen:  Pleasant day, Trel Dubino.

Dubino:  Pleasant day, Vazgen.

Vazgen:  I trust you are doing well.  If you have called for your blades, I fear
         that they will not be ready til mid-sun.

Dubino:  That is right enough.  Actually, I have called on a different matter
         indeed.  I wish not to take you from your shop, but I am in dire need
         of a taskman, and--

Vazgen:  Yes, I know well enough.  Sen Warat is on task to Erveno--

Dubino:  And you are best suited after Warat for any task.  Will you take leave?

Vazgen:  My will is that of the township.  What is the task, Trel Dubino?

Dubino:  I thank you, Vazgen.  It is not a long or very dangerous task, but I
         might fear for a lesser man on this particular road these days.

Vazgen:  Ah, I see.  I am to venture to Tarsenvun, then?

Dubino:  Yes, but not alone.  Tumil will travel with you after he returns from the hunt.
         And you will take one other, if you do not oppose.

Vazgen:  Who is the other?

Dubino:  My son, Sarcos, returned last night from Runora, and--

Vazgen:  I am to take Sarcos?  To Tarsenvun?

Dubino:  I know myself that he is a ruffian, but if he could learn better ways from any
         man, it would be you, Vazgen.

Vazgen:  You ask much of me, but I will not deny you.  What are we to do in Tarsenvun?

Dubino:  Trel Kensel has for me a satchel of Midac stones.  I will send you with 200
         Bensas as payment.

Vazgen:  And we then return to Larten?

Dubino:  Yes.  It should be a simple task.  When Tumil returns, I will send Sarcos to
         you as messenger.  Then the three of you will leave for Tarsenvun.

Vazgen:  So it shall be done.  I thank you, Trel Dubino.

Dubino:  I thank you, Vazgen.  I will see you again before you depart.
